The Gospel, the Good News Of Jesus Christ

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is this message, God's only son and representative in the flesh came to earth in the form of Jesus Christ.  He then lived a perfect human life without sin, died for our sins becoming the perfect sacrificial lamb of God.  He was tortured on the cross-till death, buried and days later rose again conquering death.  He then gave his followers the instructions to go out and spread this teaching through the gospel.  This amazing sacrifice from our loving God gave all of humanity a path to salvation! It's not works, but through faith and his sacrifice that we are saved.  We are so blessed!  A PURPOSE IS WHAT MEN NEED! This purpose can be found in the Bible and Jesus teachings.  The word "gospel" translates to the phrase "good news" the first 4 chapters of the New Testament. It's through the Bible and faith we can find salvation in Jesus and spread that good news just like Jesus's followers!
